Michael Duty holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology Management from Berea College. Michael has worked in manufacturing for over a decade and has experience in both labor and management. He has worked with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and 5S.
Michael shifted gears in 2005 when he started his home-based business Professional Communication Services and started freelance writing for the Internet. In that time, Michael has published journalistic articles in ezines such as Lifted Magazine and sites like AllBusiness.com. Michael is driven and largely self-taught. He has published approximately 200 articles with Demand Studios and in 2011, Michael completed the American Writers and Artists Institute’s Accelerated Program for Six Figure Copywriting Program.
As Berea College is a liberal arts college, Michael’s interests and background are diverse. He is well-versed in theology as can be seen at his blog armchairapologist. Michael also has a passion for politics and all things relating to history.
